The Gold Star Mother of West Virginia have featured 'Light of a Gold Star in their 2024 Ridge Ride video.

For their 2024 Memorial Day Concert, the Columbus Community Orchestra delivered a stirring performance of 'Light of a Gold Star.' Led by conductor Dr. William Fry, this tribute was broadcast locally on PBS, reaching homes across the community. During the Huntvilles, Alabama 2022 Memorial Day observance, local singer Erica Hobbs joined the community in tribute, performing a meaningfu rendition of 'Light of a Gold Star.'
